My name is Andrea Francis, and I have been a Pastoral Assistant (P.A.) at St. James' since the year 2000.

P.A's are trained and commissioned with the Bishop's authority.  They assist the priests under whom they serve in caring for the flock of Christ, and especially in doing such pastoral visiting as is entrusted to them.

They help with baptism and marriage preparation, hospital and bereavement visiting, care of the elderly and housebound, and in supporting those who are in trouble.
